Three Cycles Certification
The International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology is an international society founded with the object to pursue the international advancement of excellence in intra- and perioperative Neurophysiology, to advance standards of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures associated with risk of neurological injury and to advance standards of education for professionals involved in intraoperative Neurophysiology
The educational commitment of ISIN, leads the society to run a 3 years cycle of educational courses to cover the structure of neuromonitoring.
Structures of the Educational Courses
- Part I: IOM of Spine, Spinal Cord and Peripheral Nerve Surgery
- Part II: IOM of Brain Surgery
- Part III: IOM of Brain Stem
How does it work?
Participants can undertake a course at any point they wish but it is mandatory to finish the three years cycle in order to get the ISIN certification.
Kindly note that there is no need to be an ISIN member to complete the three cycles certification.
Which is the next Educational Course?
Next Educational Course will be the ISIN Educational Course 2025 to be held on 24th – 26th of November in Kyoto, Japan. The event aims to provide participants working in IONM, with a venue in maintaining cutting edge knowledge and skill in the field, including their implementation. How can you ask for your three cycles certificate?
Please, contact our technical secretariat: info@neurophysiology.org. It is necessary to proof your attendance at the ISIN’s courses in order to confirm that you have completed the three cycles (Brain, Spine & Brainstem and Peripheral).
Please, send the certification of attendance provided at the end of each course.
